(English Abstract)
In this paper, we propose a driver- and fieldoriented smart driving assistance system that can monitor the behavior of a forklift driver in real time and directly control the forklift based on efficiently prediction of dangerous situations. Based on the proposal of effective multi-sensor fusion technology considering the operating environment characteristics of the forklift, and the development of a braking module designed to be directly mounted and tuned on an existing commercial forklift, the system monitors the condition of the forklift and responds to each hazardous situation. It is composed of an integrated controller for the realization of services, and the proposed system has verified its utility and applicability through trial operation and testing in the actual field environment.
